Data Deletion
Last updated October 19, 2026
1. Who this covers
This page explains how to delete data that HappiNest received through Facebook (Meta). It applies to two groups:
- People who connected Facebook to HappiNest, usually a property management employee who logged in with Facebook so their company can run lead ads.
- People who filled in a lead form on a Facebook ad that a community ran through HappiNest.
For anything else, see our privacy policy.
2. Stop HappiNest's access
You can cut off our access to your Facebook account at any time, in either place:
- In HappiNest: Settings, Facebook Ads, Setup, then Sign out of Facebook (or disconnect a single Page). We stop using your Facebook connection, stop receiving leads from the Pages you disconnected, and stop managing ads through it. Ads already running stay in your Facebook ad account until you pause them in Ads Manager.
- In Facebook: Settings and privacy, Settings, then Business Integrations (or Apps and Websites). Find HappiNest and choose Remove. Facebook then stops giving us access.
Disconnecting stops access. It doesn't by itself erase the data we already hold, so use the next step for that.
3. Ask us to delete your data
Email support@happinest.ai with the subject Facebook data deletion request and tell us:
- If you connected Facebook: your name, the email on your HappiNest account, and the name of the Facebook Page you connected.
- If you filled in a lead form: the email address or phone number you used on the form, and the community or property the ad was for, if you know it.
We may ask you to confirm the request from the email address or phone number it concerns, so we delete only the right person's data.
4. What happens next
We will confirm we received your request, and complete it within 30 days. When it is done, we delete:
- The Facebook access tokens, Facebook user ID and Page connections we stored for you.
- Your Facebook lead form submission (name, email, phone number, consent answer) and the messages tied to it in HappiNest.
A lead belongs to the community that ran the ad, which uses HappiNest to manage it. If the community needs to be involved in deleting a lead, we will tell you and pass your request to them.
5. What we may keep
- Records we must keep by law, such as billing, tax and security records.
- Aggregated or anonymized data that no longer identifies you.
- Copies held by Meta. HappiNest can't delete data on Facebook. To manage what Meta holds, use Meta's privacy tools.
